The Customer Service Assistant traineeship is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in Local Government on a full-time basis while being supported and guided through your studies and gaining on-the-job experience.

You will learn many facets of customer service; including but not limited to:

  • General administration duties including answering telephones, correspondence, cash handling and all other duties normally involved in a business environment
  • Provide both verbal and in-writing information that is timely, accurate and in accordance with legislation, Council Policy, protocol and procedures.
  • Ability to manage own workflow efficiently; negotiate priorities to deliver outcomes in a timely manner.

We are looking for a bright individual with a strong work ethic who is interested in starting a career in Customer Service and Administration. The successful candidate will have;
